I specialise in helping people manage anxiety and stress, overcome low mood, and boost confidence and low self-esteem. I’m a therapist and coach working with evidence-based approaches – and I have personal experience that they work and can turn your life around! I know what it is like to struggle with anxiety and self-doubt while outwardly seeming successful and functioning. I believe that changing your relationship with yourself is the key to achieving peace of mind, and flourishing in all aspects of life, including relationships, career and physical health.
I offer short and longer term counselling and coaching.
I currently work by Zoom and telephone.
The heart of all the work I do is understanding how past events may be impacting current behaviour, experiences and relationships. We also work with changing the relationship you have with yourself by developing self-acceptance and self-compassion. I often use CBT and ACT-based approaches to shift unhelpful thinking patterns, and coaching to help you connect with your core values and personal strengths.
My training and qualifications cover human relationships and development, the influence of lifestyle on mental health, and how our thinking habits and core beliefs influence our self-image and experience of life. I am committed to ongoing training and personal development. See below for details of my qualifications.

I work with individuals aged 21 and over who are functioning and may seem outwardly ‘successful’, but feel that life could be better, or who are seeking greater self-knowledge or understanding of why they feel or act in a certain way. I currently do not work with couples. If you are looking for help overcoming serious abuse, trauma or debilitating mental health conditions or if you are actively suicidal, I would advise you to seek a more suitably qualified therapist.
